Lola Rossi (1995) is an artist whose practice lies at the intersection of cognitive science and image-based media — films, installations, and immersive experiences. She explores altered states of consciousness through digital and visual arts, as well as techno-ritual practices. Rather than adopting a dualistic critique of technology, she approaches it as a vector of perception and introspection, within a cyberfeminist framework.
Pendant dix ans, elle a pratiqué la photographie plasticienne, documentant notamment les scènes musicales berlinoises, londoniennes et françaises. Elle a présenté plusieurs expositions personnelles dans une approche élargie de la photographie, souvent accompagnées de films relevant d’un cinéma de chambre. Son travail a été soutenu par des institutions telles que l’UNESCO, le Centre des Arts d’Enghien-les-Bains.
Holder of a Master’s degree in Visual Effects Engineering from ARTFX, she combines technical expertise (coding, 3D, compositing, radio technologies, generative art) with artistic research. She teaches image theory and digital arts in higher education. Her practice is rooted in a research-creation approach, which she is currently pursuing with researcher and designer Hugo Scurto around *altered states of consciousness*.
